Forged wheel vs. cast wheel
A decisive difference lies in the production process and thus in the resulting properties of the material used. Cast wheels cannot compete with forged wheels in three key disciplines: weight, surface beauty and, above all, safety reserves!

More agility. More safety. More riding pleasure.
The advantages over a cast wheel are, on the one hand, a weight saving of up to 20 percent and, on the other, increased safety reserves thanks to the significantly higher toughness of the material. Forged wheels achieve a degree of gloss and a surface structure that is not possible with cast wheels. In addition to the attractive appearance, the lower weight and reduction in unsprung masses result in noticeably better ride comfort.
